Tomato Soup – Easy 5 Minute Recipe

Ingredients: serves 4
2 brown onions, diced
3 cups canned whole tomatoes
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1 tsp Tabasco sauce
2 1/2 cups vegetable stock
salt and white pepper to season

1. In the sauce pan at medium heat add olive oil and diced brown onion.
2. Cook the onions for 3 to 4 minutes until soft.
3. Add canned whole tomatoes along with vegetable stock.
4. Now place in the tomato paste and add fresh basil leaves.
5. Add some Tabasco sauce and season with salt and white pepper.
6. Mix well and cook for 8 minutes.
7. Blend the mixture in the pan until smooth.
8. Serve with hot buttered crusty bread or garlic bread.
